A factory loft in Berlin-Kreuzberg was transformed into a comfortable family-home. Room-high wooden fixtures in whitish oiled oak form the new room structure. The unplastered walls and industrial floor were preserved and remained visible. The built-in wood units include built-in cabinets with integrated doors and a library. A floor-to-ceiling sliding door closes off a study. The built-in kitchen matches the object-like furnishings of the residents. A sideboard with electric TV lift, closets and guest and master bath furnishings in wood and polished brass.
