A comprehensive conversion of an attic apartment created a spacious living and dining area with an open kitchen. The central fireplace, serving as a room divider, was covered in shelves, cabinets and wooden panels. In front of the windows, new sideboard cabinets hide heaters and technology. A floor-to-ceiling sliding door to the adjoining hallway is hidden behind a bookcase. The open-plan kitchen with work area, cooking and sink island is finished in metallic lacquer fronts with waterproof solid surface countertops.
